Padmavathy Medical Foundation is a 150 bed tertiary super specialty hospital situated at Sasthamcotta, the city of lake in Kollam District, Kerala. Sasthamcotta is a tiny village placed at around 30 kms away from the Kollam town and the population of Sasthamcotta Panchayath as per 2001 census is only 32391.This piece of land is blessed with the second largest fresh water lake in Asia, surrounded by hills which are awe-inspiring.
The hospital started in 2006 with a noble vision; “To minimize the inequality between the advancement in health science and health delivery in Urban and Rural areas so as to reach the fruits of modern medicine to all sects of deserving and needy people at affordable cost”.
