He is the Chairman of Padmavathy Medical Foundation and Head  of  Padmavathy Heart Institute . It is the first ‘complete cardiac care’ hospital of Kollam district caters to a wide range of patients of adjoining districts. The cardiology team is handling all types of interventional and cardiothoracic & vascular procedures. The Cardiac Surgery team is capable of doing all major cardiac surgeries both adult and pediatric such as double valve procedure, single valve procedure, Bypass surgery, birth defect correction surgery and composite procedures like valve replacement with bypass, Total correction for TOF etc with outstanding results. The center is in the process of developing a neonatal cardiac surgical wing.
