History

Padmavathy Medical Foundation is a 100 bedded super specialty tertiary care hospital situated at Sasthamcotta, the city of lake in Kollam District, Kerala. It is located at an important link road connecting national high way (NH-17) at Chavara (14 km) and MC road at Adoor (17 km). The International airport is only 100 km away at Trivandrum. Sasthamcotta railway station is just 3 ½ km away. Main Railway station is at Kollam (35 km) where all trains stop. Sasthamcotta is a tiny village placed at around 30 kms away from the Kollam town. This piece of land is blessed with the second largest fresh water lake in Asia, surrounded by hills which are awe-inspiring. Healthcare in Kerala has witnessed a tremendous growth with the establishment of Corporate Investment across the top cities. But the majority, rural population was not benefited of its fruit.
